15th Annual AES Audio Masters Golf Tournament

This was Sea The Desert Entertainment's third year attending the 15th Annual AES (Audio Engineering Society) Audio Masters Golf Tournament supporting the Nashville Engineer Relief Fund. The proceeds generated from this annual affair have aided many individuals and families in the local engineering community, each of whom has suffered from serious health or financial predicaments.

There were many familiar faces out there on the golf course including teams from BMI, Sound Stage (Frank Liddell's team), Oceanway Studios, Blackbird Studios to name a few. Again this year, legendary engineer Bill VornDick was roaming around all day in his "emergency golf cart", ready to handout moonshine to anyone who may be in need.

It was a best ball tournament and Sea The Desert's team of Morgan Mills, Steffon Hamulak, Eric Torres & Liz Cooper placed 10th out of 38 teams with a round of 66 (6 under par). Among the many highlights was Steffon winning best drive contest at the 11th hole, winning a pair of Genelec 6010a monitors. Not too long after that, his cart was hijacked by The Pepper's Pro Shop band of Pirates that were a sponsor of the 12th hole.

It was a day of fun for the those of the music industry that were apart of the event, and it was all for a great cause. To see more photos of the event click here. To learn more about the event and AES please visit www.theaudiomasters.org.
