Greg Friia at the Frank Brown Intl. Songwriters Festival

November 21, 2011 - SEA THE DESERT Music Publishing staff writer Greg Friia played four shows recently as part of the Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival. The festival takes place yearly in venues across the northern Gulf Coast from Pensacola, Florida to Gulf Shores, Alabama and has been named one of the "top 20 events of the southeast" by the Southeast Tourism Society.

Greg, along with show-mates Pete Sallis, Brian White, Karyn Williams and Riley Weston appeared at venues such as The Silver Moon Stage, Lulu's, the Sports Bar of Perdido Key and the legendary Flora-bama where on Saturday November 12th, they played to a packed house at the official after party for the Kid Rock show.

"It's great to come down here every year and showcase what we do. The crowds and the people of the Gulf Coast are fantastic", states Friia.

Other notable writers that took part in this year's festival include, Chris Wallin, Chuck Howard, Trent Tomlinson, Steve Dean, Brett Jones, Arlos Smith, Dylan Altman and Joel Shewmake. For more information visit www.fbisf.com.
