Sea The Desert Entertainment Heads To The 2012 Key West Songwriters Festival

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - May 2, 2012 (Nashville, TN) Celebrating it's 17th year, the 2012 Key West Songwriters Festival is the largest festival of it's kind in the world. Since 1997 BMI has been a charter sponsor of the festival and has helped it grow into both a tourist attraction as well as a favorite of island locals, and according to Penny Everhard, Writer/Publisher Relations at BMI, "This year is going to be the best thus far, talent wise!". Starting Wednesday, May 2nd and finishing up Sunday, May 6th, these shows will be packed with some of the best songwriters in the world. The exclusivity is what makes this event. Only specific songwriters are chosen by BMI and asked to perform at the festival each year, bringing mega hit writers and the best of the best up and coming Nashville talent together.

Sea The Desert Entertainment is proud to represent writer Greg Friia down in paradise this year, at his performances Thursday, 8 p.m. at the Double Tree Grand Key with Pete Sallis, Mary Danna and Anna Owens and, Saturday, 3 p.m. at the Sheraton Pool with the same group of talented writers who collectively have songs with Trace Adkins, Trisha Yearwood, Ronnie Dunn, Bonnie Tyler and Richie McDonald. Engineer/Songwriter Eric Torres (Engineer on the Grammy nominated 'Guitar Song' album for Jamey Johnson) of Sea The Desert Entertainment will also be performing at the Smokin' Tuna with Arlis & Friends Saturday at 10 p.m.

This years songwriter talent spans from today's hit writers like Dallas Davidson (Trace Adkins, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan to name a few) to classics like Robert Earl Keen & The World Famous Headliners Featuring Al Anderson.
